Stop Letting Fear Rule Your Life

Hi Everyone:
Hope you liked the last little thing I have sent you. I found it to be uplifting. This blog today will be about over coming fear.  Fear, we are born with only two fears, the fear of a loud noise and the fear of falling. All other fears are learned. Fear can be a debilitating thing. It can stop us from leaving an abusive situation or stop us from living the lives we want.
We tend to get into a comfort zone sometimes and even though the situation is not the best it is better than going out to the unknown. I found this to be true in trying to leave an abusive relationship. My feelings were this is bad, but what if I get myself into something that is even worse. Sometimes the fear is geared towards just not having enough self -confidence or self- esteem. I think the bottom line is fear is based on your belief systems. Do you believe you are capable of accomplishing anything or do you let fear rule your decisions. Again this is what you belief about yourself. I have talked before in other blogs about where our belief systems come from. I have also given you tools to be able to help yourself change those belief systems if they no longer fit who you are or who you want to be. My question to you is are you working at it? If not, ask yourself why. Are you afraid of success? Or are you afraid of failure. In my case it was a little bit of both. I let my fears rule me to the point I kept living my life in self destruct mode constantly. You see the blogs I write are from personal experience. It takes great courage sometimes to make that move to change. Change can be very scarey. But think of what that change can do not only for you but the people that are around you. If they see a change in you they themselves may be inspired and want to change as well. I can be a positive cycle. Think of how many people you may inspire and do great things for yourself as well. Just food for thought.
